Tallow is rendered beef fat — and before the cosmetics industry decided petroleum derivatives were more profitable, it was the moisturiser humans used for thousands of years.
It's rich in vitamins A, D, E and K. Its fatty acid profile nearly mirrors human sebum. It absorbs like your skin recognises it, because biologically, it does.
We triple-render ours for purity, source exclusively from grass-fed Canadian cattle, and hand-pour every batch in small lots. Nothing is rushed. Nothing is hidden.
Why bakuchiol?
A gentler retinol.
Bakuchiol is the plant-derived compound that gives retinol a run for its money — without the irritation, dryness, or sun sensitivity that come with the vitamin A standard. Derived from the babchi seed, used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries.
Clinical studies show comparable results on fine lines, hyperpigmentation, and collagen support — with significantly fewer side effects. It's photostable, compatible with most actives, and gentle enough for sensitive skin.
